This is my first post to the new photoblog at PhaseDrift.com. It's really nice to start fresh under a new domain. I had my milestone 30th birthday yesterday, so this is the perfect time to create a new personal photo project like this. I've archived my old photoblog and put it at timecapsule.phasedrift.com. I had nearly 1000 photos at the old site, so I've started the numbering for this new photoblog at 1001. Seems like a nice round number and it will help to ensure that the old photos don't get confused with the new ones.
The photo for this post is a cheesy self-portrait I did several days ago in my bathroom. The crazy lens flares are from a little flashlight. This image is actually 5 different photos combined together into one... Four of the photos use the blurry flashlight and one of them was done with a speedlight in order to get a little bit of sharpness in there.
