London, 2005. Chinatown. Meat on a stick. Bar Room Bar.
The world is gigantic and full of so many amazing people. As more and more of them become web-savvy and start sharing their experiences online, I can't help but feel a bit overwhelmed by it all. There's just too much good stuff to keep track of everything.
I think it's wonderful.
Especially now that Google has upgraded its feed reader software... I'm finding it easier to keep up with much more. (Think of Google Reader as Bloglines that actually works "right." It still has a few annoying parts, but I'm sure they'll iron out those in time.) Anyhow, because of this reader I'm feeling more connected with current conversations and ideas. I've been keeping up with several more blogs about art and photography. And I'm loving it.
Jen Bekman recently made a post on her blog that got me thinking about all this. Check out her Thousands of Words About Pictures post for a great list of sites to follow. I was surprised at how similar her list is to my Google Reader subscriptions list.

Information is the new social drug, well it has been for quite sometime really! The recoil of this addiction is the need to know more but not having the resources to be able to shoot-it-up!
Stunning image BTW Brandon, like the prespective and the abrupt end to it as well.

I couldn't agree more. It's all a tad daunting...but exciting as well. Thanks for the link to that post - I've found some great new sites to follow.
Also, giving Google Reader a shot. So far, so good! Thanks for the recommendation.
